Cancellation Policy

Q:Are there refunds if I need to cancel? A: Refunds will be available up to a week before the parent course begins, should you need to cancel. If you need to cancel, please reach out to Amy Mack, LCSW, RPT. Cancellations made after 7 days will be refunded at 50 percent. There will be no refunds after the course begins. Q: Does attending this workshop enter me into a client-therapist with Amy Mack, LCSW, RPT? A: I understand that even though Amy Mack, LCSW, RPT is a licensed therapist, this course is not therapy. Taking this course does not create a therapist/client relationship between Amy Mack, LCSW & myself. If you are a client of Amy Mack, LCSW,RPT & take this workshop, you will not be identified as a client. Q: Can my partner/family member attend as well? A: A parent or caregiver from the same family can be added to the course to attend with you on the zoom session, at no extra charge Q:Is there a recording available if we have to miss a class or part of a class? A: Yes, the classes will be recorded and made available to all participants, to view up for a week. Recordings will be deleted after a week. Q:If I am a helping professional and a caregiver can I take this course? A: Yes, and this is not a train the trainer program. Therefore, any of the materials received in this training ( handouts, workbook e-book, images, etc.) cannot be used with professional clients. The materials can be used for personal use only and the materials are copyrighted. If you wish to be trained to use the material professionally, you must complete the year long parent-coaching immersion program (Being With) which is offered by Robyn Gobbel (https://robyngobbel.com/). Q:Where is the event? A: This is an online event that will use ZOOM as the platform. Please make sure you have that downloaded on your tablet, phone or computer the day of the event. Q: How long is the course? What are the times? The course, Raising Kids with Big Baffling Behaviors: A Course for Parents, will be run in length for an hour and 30 minutes. for 12 weeks. A break will be had for Spring/April Q: What behaviors is this class designed to help? All children can benefit from a stronger parent-child connection. Behaviors addressed in the course will be extreme dysregulation (physical or verbal aggression, running away, throwing things, isolation, withdrawal, and disassociation).
